Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using QuickStitch Collective (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have consent from a legal guardian) to purchase courses. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. Course Purchases and Access
- When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable license for your own learning.
- We may provide downloadable materials (e.g., PDFs). Do not redistribute or resell them.
- We strive to keep courses available for at least 24 months from purchase; if a course is retired earlier, we provide reasonable alternatives or downloads.
4. Pricing and Payments
All prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply based on your location. We use third-party processors to handle payments securely.
5. Refunds
If a course doesn’t meet your needs, contact us within 14 days of purchase and before completing more than 30% of the content. We will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund or suggest an exchange.
6. Acceptable Use
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Respect other learners and instructors; constructive feedback only.
7. Intellectual Property
All course videos, text, and materials are owned by QuickStitch Collective or our instructors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, share, or distribute materials without permission.
8. Disclaimers
We provide educational content “as is.” We do not guarantee that you will finish projects within a specific timeframe or achieve a specific result. Your progress depends on your practice and circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. In any case, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. If changes materially impact your paid access, we will provide reasonable notice or alternatives.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for suspected fraud or abuse. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
